Butterfly Project (Bp) is based in the heart of Derby, at Butterfly House, Rose Hill Street, in the Arboretum area. Butterfly House is set in an urban haven and idyllic surroundings over looking the oldest crown bowling green in England, and adjacent to Arboretum Park, the first public park in the country.

Butterfly House is a community hub developing and supporting local groups and individuals encouraging and promoting programmes and projects that are meaningful and sustainble.

Bp works with and for local community addressing and campaigning in areas of wellbeing, culture, environment and learning.

    1) Voluntary organisation showcase stalls - there will be stalls at which voluntary organisations may showcase what they do and canvas for volunteers;
    2) A community theatre element - open air community theatre;
    3) Activities for young people and children;
    4) Community services surgeries.
    5) A Market element - there will be stalls selling arts, crafts and food;
    The Healing Communities initiatives aims at bringing communities together in Derby, to promote a cohesive culture of shared responsible community.
