In 2006 began the journey of friends coming together to create a space, a vision a realization of decades of experience and thought. 

Friends who worked in commercial organizations, statutory agencies and the third sector wanting to visualize and accomplish change in the communities they came from. Returning there experience and skills to the area and the people who lived, breathed and worked in arboretum, normaton, and the city of Derby.

The challenge, ambitious, and full of energy and ideas but how could a group of like minded individuals come  together to inspire change, many thoughts, discussions, and late nights later

we soon realizes we had to impact change in a growing, maturing and emerging community as diverse as our neighborhood, a vision that catalyzed a real difference, meaningful change, something different yet basic, inclusive not exclusive, combing skills and experience, reviving culture and tradition, persevering natural environment and learning whilst enjoying simple past times.

Our vision was born, our aims became clearer and the mission began:

• Purpose - learn, enjoy and encourage through urban and traditional activities
